Hi, I’m Camilo Diaz!

I have a passion for educating my community in New England on all things animals, pets and nature.

As a former educator with a BA in Biology and Education from the University of Rhode Island, I’ve had a passion for educating the public for my entire career.

You may know me from my former animal shows I did around Plymouth County, my time working on Captain John’s Whale Watching Boat in Plymouth, or my time at the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth.

Now, I’m helping educate the public through my articles published across multiple platforms. It's important to me to highlight the amazing wildlife right here in our area, shine a light on the vital work of local animal nonprofits, and help deserving dogs in our community find their forever homes. I also love sharing information about upcoming pet and wildlife events, hoping to inspire a deeper appreciation for the animals around us. My articles are published on NewsBreak, MSN, and the weekly local newsletter Community Connections.

When I'm not working, you'll likely find me exploring the natural beauty of our local parks and reserves with my camera or at my local library, either reading or writing my own stories.
